Governor Nathan Deal has announced that Mannington Mills, a tile maker, will add 219 jobs to Georgia. The generations old family business operate out of New Jersey, manufacturing vinyl tiles and hardwood flooring. Construction of the facility will start some time this year and the workforce will be in place by the year 2015.
The Governor said that the investment in the company will be more than $50 million.
The company is present throughout the south with facilities in North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, California and the United Kingdom. The newest plant will be the third in Georgia.
